Description: At the request of Angau Memorial Hospital (Lae, Papua New Guinea), Warrnambool Base Hospital provided a one-month education and management training program for a selected group of eight Papua New Guinean nurse managers. The program focused on developing insight into management practices across departments including the Operating Suite, Midwifery Services, Emergency Department, Paediatrics, and Clinical Coordination. The photographs show Emergency Department Associate Unit Manager Fabian McLindin demonstrating the setup of a Pagewriter electrocardiograph recorder with visiting nurses Eileen Oboko and Alice Misirait. Additional images include visiting nurses Lucy Joel and Filma Gadebo with Ann Morris (Diabetes Educator) during a professional visit to Melbourne. This exchange program strengthened ties between the two hospitals and enhanced clinical leadership capacity within Papua New Guinea’s nursing sector.
